Borates & HCL additions

Hi,

I'm thinking of adding 50ppm borates to my pool. From what I understand, due to the borates buffering capacity, I would then need to add more HCL in order to shift PH down when required.

When you enable borates in Pool Logger, does this take the borates into consideration when calculating the required HCL?
